    Default How would you feel?

You have spent years studying to get a job that fits into your kids and dh's life, you get that job, but had to start at the bottom of the company, and work your way up....... Just like everyone else who works there, there is only 3 people In Your position and all of you have worked your backside off for anything, one lady leaves to have a baby which is wonderful news for her,

Then Your boss hires someone to fill her position, they have no qualifications, no experience at the job, never worked in this field before, but they are hired because of how they look...... That is the only reason they have been hired.

He is good looking, and I can't deny everyone like to look at him, and he is a nice person, I just can't help feeling insecure now about my job and a tad ripped off that we all had to work hard for it..... I think I may look for another job

I guess I would just hope he is also. Awesome at the job and wouldn't worry about it.

Can you tell us what type of role this is and what qualifications the rest of you have?
I had a similar thing happen in my workplace, she was lovely girl and she learnt on the job pretty quickly, but she was hired as Personal Assistant when she had never used any Microsoft product before - ever!

If that was the main reason he was employed, I'd feel pretty gutted/ripped off.

Time will tell if he is capable of doing the job. Being just a piece of eye candy won't be enough for him to succeed in the role - if he can't do the job, he won't last in the company.

I don't want to say too much for obvious reasons, but much what you describe above computer skills, business and accounting all that type of stuff,
