My bub seems to be suffering from separation anxiety, he won't go to anyone else but me at the moment, he just drops his lip & cries! He's 5 months next week, I thought it was a little early for this to start... What age did you bub start this?

Ds2 has really started the separation anxiety full on now at 10 months but it probably started mildly at around 6 months. Nothing to worry about it just means you have a strong bond and its completely normal.

My DS's separation anxiety seems to have peaked about now, he is 11months, would say it started at around 10months.
He did go through the phase of dropping his bottom lip at around 5/6 months, especially when handing him over to other people, but I hate to say that I don't think that is the worst of it.

Yes I imagine it will take a while for him to get over it!

My DD is 6 months and has just started showing signs of separation anxiety. She cries if someone other than myself or DH holds her, cries if she can't see me & won't go to sleep unless she's somehow touching me.
Any tips on how to cope?
