    Dd was a bit slow to start. At her 18mth mchn check up (which I wish I didn't even bother with) she was only saying mum & dad - automatic referral for a speechie. I declined the referral saying that if by 2 I had concerns, I would see my gp for a referral

    Needless to say, she has become an absolute parrot in the last 8wks or so (will be 2 in 3wks). She obviously was just working on other things that she is way ahead in compared to her same age buddies
