On a cake decorating page I'm on. Someone made a first birthday cake for a Rajvir. No idea on the pronunciation of this one.

That's an actual Indian name. I know a few kids with that name both here and back home. Means warrior or hero of a kingdom.

    that's not a you-neek name, that's an ethnic name.

as R&A&H pointed out, it's Indian. I'm not Indian myself but you can usually tell when a name is trying to be you-neek and when it's from a different culture. well I can anyway.

How does one pronounce this name: Aleeia?

This is Jodi & Braith Anasta's daughter's name (former Home & Away actress and NRL player). The use of vowels is confusing

I saw a show not long ago where the parents were registering the birth of their child George. When the guy asked for the spelling (he was filling out the form for them at BDM, must be different in the UK?) they had no idea how it was spelt. So he spelt it properly and they said that was ok. I think that kid dodged a badly spelt bullet that day 😜

I've also seen a lot of Oska's around lately, makes me cringe a little...
