my sister and I use Bertha as a description for when we are feeling daggy and overweight.

"I went to that party last night and felt like a real Bertha"

Oh ok I've never heard it before. The family aren't Jewish either. I thought she said her sons name was Shane!

My brother kept insisting I name my daughter Skeletor. She's 14 months old now and he still calls her that when he remembers.

My brother calls my 2-year-old girl "Bam-Bam", from the Flintstones (although I think Bam-Bam was a boy). It actually suits her! Her real name is Lucy.

I saw a news article today about a woman named Kourtnie, which gets a mention purely because of the spelling.
