    Ooh I think I read something about that! When someone is unhappy with the final cut of the movie they have directed/acted in they use Phred as a pseudonym/protest. I'm pretty sure.

    Just remembered a couple of years ago my SIL who is a primary school teacher told me about a boy in her class whose name was Anfine. About two weeks into the school year the lovely little boy asked her why she kept calling him An-Fine, and when she responded that she thought that was his name he corrected her and said it was pronounced 'an-fin-y' (as in Anthony with a f instead of th).
