So this is our 1st cycle of ttc, I've started using 1st response ovulation tests! I've got a few question I'd love to know about them this my 1st time I've ever used them! So once I have a surge it say ill ovulate 24-36 should I also test again before dtd as we are swaying for a boy want to be right on the edge of ovulation! Thanks everyone!!

No point testing again really after you get a positive. The hormones remain in your system so you will get positive results for a few days.
Just make sure it really is a positive, same colour or darker than the control line.

So does the positive test fade out before you actually do O? I'm wondering if you count the 24-36 hours from which positive and if the test is still positive when you O?
