I got quite a large amount but its pretty much all gone already.
Big clothes shop for the kids and a few things for myself.
a new car stereo and antenna fixed (both were not working properly)
    a new car battery,
    winter gas & electricity bill,
and the rest is set aside for moving costs at end of year (bond clean and truck hire to move stuff over 300km away)

Anyone else struggle to choose the balance between splurging on a holiday or something totally not 'needed' but much wanted... and paying off bills or saving and being sensible?

I cant decide which is best and how much of each is fair. I want to save it all... but I also want to treat outselves a little. CANT choose and I feel guilt either way!
    ugh. I hate money.

I really wanted to keep some for a trip to Hawaii next year and to the side for stamp duty when we buy a house but figured it is probably better to pay the car off as repayments are a fair amount each month so this will free up a lot of money for us.

Most of it will just sit in my savings account but it will help with paying DD's birthday party and school fees.

We are moving soon so it will also buy us a new lounge :-)

    Lol haha.

I wish it was that interesting of a reason.

The old bed was just falling apart from age. I miss it though, new bed sucks :/

ETA: just read my original bed comment, it does sound like we were up to something! Haha!
