Default *spin off* What do you LOVE about your house

The 'What gives you the sh!ts about your house' thread got me thinking. Yeah theres some things that give us the sh!ts but there are some things i really love about our house.

I love our back patio. We just had it re-done and its now under cover and we can go out and toast mashmallows around the fire when its raining...BLISS

I love our toilet. We had it renovated and it has on of those 'soft closing' lids. It spins me out every time.

I love our lounge room. Its so big and i can seperate half for the kids things and still have 'grown up' space.

I love that we can section off the back and front end of the house. So we dont have to be quiet when the kids are sleeping.

I love that our back yard is big enough to have chickens, a vege patch, a trampoline and still space to run around and do cartwheels etc.

What do you LOVE about your house??

I love that I can see all my backyard from my kitchen sink and watch the sun rise from there too. I like my huge back yard which can also fit the tramp and cubby and room to play cricket oh and the pool. I love the decked patio and decked pathways thru the garden and that there is gardens all the way round the house. I could go on and on, I waited 2 yrs to buy this house and it has so many things I like in it.

I love the family history associated with my house. It's close to 125 years old and has finally worked its way back into family hands. And it's huge.

The verandah with speakers to listen to music.

No carpet = easy to clean

If any burglars tried to break in I'd know, they'd have to walk on the verandah and you can hear it from anywhere in the house

Our HUGE patio that faces the bush and the creek on our boundary. Our 2.5 acres and our big gum trees dotted in the back yard. The space - 8 bedrooms. The fireplace. The wildlife. The potential. Oh and the massive pool.

The location. We are 4 kms from the CBD and in an awesome school zone. The cafe strip is in walking distance, the parks are amazing and the general community atmosphere is lovely.
