Hi Sandra welcome to the group!

I'm with Flynn (previously with O'Dowd for 4 cycles). Agreed that the QFG nurses are awesome!! Fullofhope is in process of changing from Bopp to Flynn. Maybe she can give more insight into him.

    Goldie I'm in Robina.

Girls who are UTD/had bubba's - when did you start to show???

The ladies at QFG are absolutely awesome and I have quite a good relationship with them all. I guess I just want to see what people's thoughts on Dr Bopp are?

    Thank you!!
Hi Sandra! Welcome to the group. I have been with Dr Bopp since Sept last year. I had two IUI's & 2 cancelled cycles. Tbh I was trying to be really patient with Dr Bopp, he seems nice & kind but same as you mentioned. I had no choice, no discussion, sometimes he would cut down my clomid or other meds, even though it worked great the cycle before... Even the nurses kept asking why i wasnt on injectables or why did he not change anything etc... Ive just changed to dr Flynn and ive seen him once while Dr Bopp was away, he seems much more kind hearted, proactive and informed me each step unlike Bopp. Im SO excited for the change, i was almost ready to give up entirely... I hope you get great results whatever you decide though!

I guess RTC is always a good place for a catch up.

I didn't really start showing properly in clothes till around 20 weeks. I could still lay on my stomach till a little after that too. I was always paranoid that something was wrong cause I didn't feel my bump was big enough but that soon changed very quickly!

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

Fullofhope - You've given me something to think about. I'll continue this first IVF cycle with Dr Bopp and see how I feel afterwards. It's so nice to finally 'meet' someone that is (or has been) using my doctor. This is all so new to me and quite confronting. I've just gone through the motions hoping something would happen, but it hasn't. I might have to ask you a bit more down the track about Dr Flynn.

Congratulations to all the new or soon-to-be mummas!!

    Hi Ladies

Sorry for being slack!- Ive had constant nausea every day all day. Ive actually taken this whole week off work and finally went to the doctors yesterday. He told me to start taking B6 vitamins and gave me a script for maxalon that Im going to fill today (when I get out of my pyjamas!) lol
Ive got another scan for Next Monday which cant come soon enough. I kind of wish scans were weekly to put my mind at ease but everything seems to be going as per normal from what I know of so far.

Dr O said to start reducing my progesterone and prognova as of week 10, Im supposed to wean off it. Im kind of nervous about that. What if its the only thing keeping me preg??

Sorry for the me post. Ill try catch up on everyones progress soon.

    Currently week 8.

Goldie I'm glad to hear you didn't show till 20 weeks... I feel like a fraud at the moment!!! I'm no longer feeling sick but I'm not showing so it's like I have to justify being pregnant - so weird!! My pants are getting a little tighter but nothing too bad. The other lady at work who is due same time is showing heaps. I feel like ppl at work are comparing us!!

I'll be good for catch up in a few w/ends now We're in the middle of getting files ready for a CPA review and I have to work on the w/end - annoyed because all my files were completed 3 months ago but the Partner only reviewed them last week & a few extra things need to be done....... I had time back then but not now!!!!

Lovedup never apologise for not getting on here.... hopefully the Maxalon works for you. I couldn't keep it down, hence the zofron which is dissolvable. Make sure you stay hydrated. It's prob best you stayed home, sleeping was the only thing that got me though the nausea! I stopped taking my progesterone (was on 2 crinone daily and a 400mg pessarie at night) when I saw my OB on the 22/8 - I was 14 weeks then. I stopped cold turkey too. The last time I saw him was 5 weeks prior (he then went on leave & then I had my NT scan etc). He may have stopped me earlier otherwise but I was hesitant at stopping too. Maybe just raise your concerns with Dr Ong?

Sandra hopefully you get a good outcome with Bobb this cycle. All the Dr's with QFG are different. Bobb sounds like O'Dowd - they do the same thing each cycle but expect different results. O'Dowd might be a great OB but when you're in the desperate journey of IVF you need something more. Flynn & Swift are pretty active in the medical community and I think are more proactive at getting you pregnant (i.e. trying different things). Swift had a gf of mine on everything (even female viagra!!). You need to be comfortable with your OB whoever you choose. If you're not cycle for a few months, maybe meet with another OB and have a chat with them?

Kate I started showing early and ended up huuuuge by the time my son was born, I was still little everywhere else I just had a massive belly.. I'm not surprised I was so big though because he was 8 pound 11 :-)

Ladies I have 5 days to go until my pregnancy test or 3 if I was to go by the labs recommendations, I have been thinking about poas but have never done it before so am wondering how soon after your transfer or how long before your blood test did you poas?
