I agree that the nurses at Monash aren't great! Just before I was going under an aesthetic for my last egg retrieval I thought, no one has asked me about my icsi procedure. Lucky I said that cause the nurses had forgotten to write it down even though I'd been charged for it! -I was literally about to be injected with the sedative! Dr O was like wow I better get them to get that ready cause it takes a while to set up. I was pretty disappointed in there service. They are always friendly but very unorganized.. They also lost several of my forms, my claim form being one if them. Oh well........

I loved my nurse, however was quite annoyed when it took 2 nurses jabbing me trying to find a vein and get blood from me (not my nurse) and my nurse husband was just sitting there thinking to himself that he could see the vein from where he was sitting and had to bite his tongue

Girls that is crazy about the staff at Monash! I really can't believe it. The ladies at QFG are devine and I've never had any of the happen. It's an emotional time as it is without them acting like that! Maybe you should suggest Dr O move practices!!!

Angels - Happy birthday for your little boy tomorrow, a year already wow!! Good luck on Thursday, I hope the cycle goes smoothly and surprises you. Will keep my fingers crossed!!

Betty - I know exactly what you mean about their little personalities. Isabelle was so active in utero, and she still is, even when sleeping and I wrap her so tightly!

Loved up I can't believe they didn't write the ICSI bit that's scary.

I've never really had any issues there, and have found the staff great. I think its horrible that you girls have, its such an emotional time you really don't need any extra stresses!!

I think they're just too busy, they need more staff maybe? -but when you are paying good money for these services you expect better I suppose. The Icsi secured us an extra great quality emby so I'm really glad I asked the question as to why know one had brought it up.

Dr Ong is the best though. Even when I've emailed him questions late at night (expecting him to reply the next day) he emails back within minutes. He's a v lovely man.

Would be cool, but a big part of the reason I went to Monash was because Ong specialises -- I figured that giving all his attention to IVF and not birthing babies would mean he was more focused. Plus I can imagine it would be hard to see preggo ladies in the waiting room when you're going through IVF...

Betty that is exactly the reason Dr Ong gave me when I said I wished he could be my Ob, that and with all the patients he sees for ivf he just wouldn't have the time for obstetrics as well
