    Default thrush

My 4 month old had thrush in mouth (resolved now), and now in nappy area that i can't get to go away (3 weeks now). I have tried the antifungal creams and now steroid cream. What can I do? Is there a natural alternative?
This is her 2nd bout of thrush. Why is she getting it? I have never had it. Any thoughts appreciated.

Have you tried BabyBiotic? It's a probiotic they can have from birth.
Also are you breast or bottle feeding? If breast have you treated your nipples?

    Thanks MrsOhara,
I have tried Babybiotic, but it made her poo go green. Not sure if this is bad? Or if I gave too much? Will try again.
I am breast feeding, and have treated nipples. Had stopped when the oral thrush cleared up, but maybe should start again.
    Thanks again.

It sounds as though you're doing mostly everything you can, but just thought I would mention that after you have treated your nipples again, just make sure you're using a fresh towel when you dry yourself after a shower etc. It also wouldn't hurt to put some Canestan wash or similar in with your clothes and (if you don't already) don't use any wash detergent with perfumes etc, stick with the natural or sensitive ones.
