    Default The BLW book?

I've seen mentioned on here before a book on BLW. Can someone please remind me what it's called? Does it have recipes for finger foods in it? I need some ideas for day care lunches.

Baby Led Weaning by Gil Rapley and she has a cook book as well which is just called Baby Led Weaning Cookbook - it's ok but the beauty of BLW is they eat what we do so I didn't really use a lot of recipes from it

for finger foods I just made different kinds of nuggets ( salmon, turkey, chicken, veggie ) or meatballs ( beef, lamb, turkey ) crab and fish cakes , zucchini slice, falafel , mini pizzas etc

Thanks Elijah's Mum. With the nuggets, do you just crumb chunks of chicken etc? DS has two teeth top and bottom but really struggles with meat and ends up throwing it all on the floor in frustration. Would it be better if I was to make nuggets with minced chicken perhaps?

Yep - I minced a chicken breast - or salmon - or any kind of meat first - then add grated veggies or peas and corn, chia seeds, fresh herbs , an egg and I used rice crumbs mainly ( gluten free and lighter on babies tummy)

Hijacking to say a huge thank-you thank-you thank-you (!!) to Elijas Mum for all of your advice here on BH. BLW DS has been such an enjoyable experience so far, and it has only been two weeks!
