I would speak to a financial adviser and take out insurance that is fully underwritten at the time of application. Many over the phone and online insurances do underwriting at the time if a claim and then decide if they will pay out, hence the extremely low costs. I work in the industry and don't want to advise anyone but I would speak with an adviser who can provide a proper comparison with a simple life insurance and a comprehensive life insurance. I would not want to spend 50 years paying only to find out the claim will be declined due to non disclosure!
