Mine hit my account Monday. Between savings, income overestimates, rebates and tax we saved $14k this year. (Ok so I spent $2 on my thermie- but dammit I haven't spent money on myself since ds was born) feeling like the hard work and Povo fortnights for the year were worth it. $10 k will go on necessary renos, but its still an achievement.
Apologies for the self indulgent post, just needed to celebrate for a minute before we try to do it all again.

Just a couple of tips -
if you need to call, do it first thing in the morning. It gets very busy after 9am and wait times can be up to an hour or more. Don't do it at the end of the day.
If you intend to claim a payment, call them rather than visit. Things have changed, they no longer have forms at the offices and all they will do is either put you on the phone there or tell you to call. It saves the hour wait in line only to find you end up on the phone anyhow. ( discovered this when claiming carer allowance for the second time. The first time was 10 years ago and forms were at offices. Now they send you forms with your CRN and details already printed on it )
Always advise non lodgement over the phone or in person. The Internet NEVER works. I actually advised in person this year when I was returning forms. It was the quickest I ever recieved my supps. (On the 11th!)
If they're still not showing, ring again. Keep ringing til you get someone who helps you. There are a lot of doofuses there. Often you need to filter through them until you get a helpful operator.

This might be a dumb question!! But does everyone who was paid FTB get the supps? I just got about $7 in my acc and when I looked it said that it was an arrears supp payment for part A, so I'm really confused! I was hoping for a bit more than $7.
ETA, my DS was born on the 27th June 2012, so is it possible that is from that financial year and there might be a bit more to come?
