Just wondering what the process is really.
been told I have hypothyroidism, hopefully that's a post pregnancy thing. But after reading up on hashimoto's a lot of it fits with me.
I'm super tired, so apologies for the lack of sense!

How is hashimoto's diagnosed?

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's around 2 years ago. For me it was diagnosed when I tested positive for thyroid antibodies. My TSH level is fine.
Some docs will only do blood tests for thyroid levels and not the antibodies so you may need to specifically request the antibody test.
