Has anyone else come across this? My DD2 is 4 and has recently been sick with the usual winter cough/cold. She's since recovered and seems fine other than having (sorry, bit gross) a constant dried up blocked nose which looks like snot but actually appears to be dried blood and it almost closes up both nostrils??! She's not having blood noses, doesn't really pick at it except around the edges of her outer nose?? I'll be taking her to the Doc this week as it just seems weird. It's not just snot with a little blood in it, it appears to be all dried blood??

My ds would wake up with crusty blood around & up his nose after a cold too. I'm pretty sure he was picking it at night in his sleep. Dr couldn't find anything up there or source for the blood. But I did find some dried blood under finger nail. I put 2 & 2 together. It cleared up pretty quick.
