Meh I was taking it from 19-24 so was drinking all the time too. I'm currently considering LED light therapy.

This is the current state of my skin. Please don't quote.

Yeah, that's rough Ngaiz, mine has been like that in the past, seems to be easing as I get older. How old are you? If you don't mind me asking... (I'm 38 with my crappy skin...)

Ngaiz, I've not heard of LED light therapy, but if you try it, I hope you get good results, skin problems really suck.

Can't rave about the stuff enough! I was on it when I was about 19. Had to go on the pill, I think I had regular blood tests (it is a long time ago now). My skin was very sensitive to sunlight (a bit of an issue as I was teaching swimming at the time), but I don't recall anything too bad.
It made such a difference to my skin and my self esteem it was amazing. I still don't have great skin, but most of the improvement stayed once I finished the course.

my youngest son had severe acne, and he went on the course of roactaine. He had to use three different perscription medications before he was reffered to a dematolagist, and then he was put on the rocataine. Some precautions, a blood test for liver function before starting the course, also he had to avoid excess sunlight. He was only 16, so he wasnt drinking alcohol, and he was not likely to get pregnant. He was taking the pills for quite some time, maybe one year, but the results were excellent. A friend of mine, took her son to a chinese herbalist, he had very bad acne, even worse than my sons, and his results were fantastic also. There are other options. Personally, I would have prefered the chinese herbalist, but the roacataine, has worked without any problems for my son. Marie.
