I knew about the school before liking it but I didn't know about the shopping center since I live in NSW. Doesn't really bother me though. People call there kids after people and places all the time Brooklyn, Adelaide, Oscar, Michelle etc. Alexei has been a fav since having my first over 5 years ago. Knox has only been on my list for a fornight but I am liking it more and more. I dont' like that it doesn't have a shortening though. Was first thinking Lennox with the nn Knox but I don't like Lennox.

Knox seems more of a nickname or surname to me. I think it's a little bit harsh for a first name as well.

I agree on the nn thing hence why I would like a longer name with the nn Knox but I can't think of anything else rather than Lennox or Mannox which I don't like and can see them getting Len or Man more often then Knox anyway. ANy other ideas?

Knox makes me think of Dr Suess' Fox in Socks. Fox in socks and Knox in box.

Well I guess Im going against everyone cause I really like Knox.
Also for Alexei, you'd probably get Lex as the nickname (which btw I think is a cool nickname)
