I am quite new to this forum and just want to say hello.
I am in a court matter at the moment to try to get a permanent arrangement regarding parental care of my son. He is 5. currently he spent 2-3 nights with me a week. It is a long and costly journey and if I have had more legal knowledge during and after my marriage, I would be a better position, however, I did learn a lot during this process and hope I could share what I have learnt, especially through the hardway, to those who may need it.
domestic violence destroyed my self-esteem to an extent that I was convinced I am not good enough to have custody of my child.. it took me a while to recover but now I am fighting for my son in full force.
would love to hear your thoughts when I posted my questions/discussion later on. Thank you!
