Well, after breastfeeding for quite a number of years, my youngest son is growing up, and I can forsee his weaning happening within the next yearish...
Anyway, my question is: Did your boobs go back to their pre-child state when you had finished with breastfeeding, or what happened if not?
I really liked my boobs before I had kids, and now they've been milk machines for so long, I kinda never thought about them much, but now my boy is only having one feed a day or so, they are kinda 'limp' for want of a better word!
When they stop making milk, what happens? Does the fatty breast tissue bulk up again, or am I destined to have 'limp' boobs for the rest of my days? Nooooooooooo.......

Boobs pre-children vs post-breastfeeding

I bf ds1 for nearly a year and ds2 for about 5 months. Ds2 is now 4 and my breasts are plump. They went back to normal after ds1 pretty quickly but it took about two years for then to stop looking like empty sacks after ds2.
So for me, yes they went back to normal actually a little bigger.

I'm 9 months post BF and my boobs have died I suffered hoorible stretchies all over mine, and they look like 60 year old womens boobs. They definitely plumped a bit, but they are awful, and only a b cup, so yeah, mother nature hates me sometimes!
I will be getting mine 'done' once I'm done having kids, DP knows this, I've told him it's happening regardless! (....along with a tummy tuck)

I was a 10D before bfing and my boobs sat so perfectly.
I bf for 14m
I when I was a size 6 I had literally nothing but sacks of skin as boobs as they just shrunk so much so I figured id try getting fat to help the appearance of boobs so now a size 12 and nice boobies..... yay!!!!! Quite happy with them

From the words of my eldest..."Mum, your boobs look funny". Yep, couldn't bf properly and I still lost mine. I remember once having B cup bras - nice ones that I used to wear to work. Have passed them all onto Vinnies as my chest has shrunk with each child. I'm sure it doesn't happen to everyone though

I BF two kids just under 12 months and mine deflated when I finished bf. push up bras didn't help either since there was no fat under my breast tissue. I'm pg again, and boy they look great. I went from a B to a DD...which they would stay this way!!

I've been bfing for 2.5years combined. I have not long weaned ds3 and liken my boobs to windsocks flapping in the breeze lol
I am living in the hope that they may look decent again one day but I'm not holding my breath.
