Well we survived the day with me at home on own with 2 out of 3 kids sick and myself starting week 2of antibiotics for the mastitis. Yes I was a bad mum an we stayed in front of the tv for 90%of the day, but when your sick that's all you want to do. Hoping like hell Lucas and I haven't caught anything.

Well done looney on surviving the day. Of course that's all you feel like doing when you're sick, the kids needed to rest. Hope you and Lucas have managed not to catch anything.
Feeding takes a bit of getting used to, it's different when you're at home to being in public. You'll get the hang if it with practice.
How is the mastitis, is it clearing up with antibiotics?

Loony, well done for getting through the day. And if you all needed a day in front of the TV, then so be it.

I got through my first day on my own. Sienna was really good until I logged in to do my online test. Then she did a poo and started screaming until I fed her.

I've got to get her weighed today. Fingers crossed for 150g gain or more

So far so good Lucas and I are the only ones not sick. Dd and ds1 are home again today, dd has no voice 39.5 temp and a killer headache. Ds has both ear infection and asthma cough. DH has just turned up home sick as well. So I can see my day is going to be busy.

Loony: well done on surviving the day. Hope you and Lucas don't get sick. How's the mastitis clearing up? Hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Smurfy: good luck with the weigh today.

River had a good start to last night then did 2 huges poos during the dream feed which woke her, followed half hour later by a massive spew. Then she slept well. She is screaming this morning.

Wow really, I use mine at least once a day! Yesterday I made porridge for my breakfast, stewed rhubarb, short crust pastry and then a chicken filling to make pies then I made my yoghurt! I use the recipe community for a lot of my meals.

Today I'm going to make peanut butter fudge and haven't decided on dinner yet!
