Default Baby Girl Names...too common /popular?

So with only 3-4 weeks to go DH and I are trying to narrow down names.

We have been sitting on :

    Sofia
    Summer
    Ava
    Eva

DH loves Sofia and has for ages and even started calling the bump Sofia until i got sick of it...lol i didnt want to jinx it. I loved Sofia too but the more I hear it the more im not convinced and i hear nearly every little girl with the name Sophie or Sofia...is that a sign its not the right name. ? Is it too common?

What are ur thoughts on the other names.?:-)

I love Sofia... I think you'll find once you decide on a name you tend to hear it more... Well that's what I think.

I too love all your names!!!

I think Sophia is gorgeous..I suggested it when trying to name DD. It is becoming more popular but it seems more people are considering/suggesting it than there are people actually using the name...if that makes sense.

    They're all beautiful names.

I love Ava but if you have a short surname (say 4 letters) I'm not sure that short first names work.

Sophia is a gorgeous name too!

I agree with London re the name Sophia re considering but bit actually using it. I like all the names, I know quite a few Ava and Evas and i think summer is probably the least common. My favourite is Sophia though :-)

I look after 3 Sofia's and 1 Sophie at my daycare, I'm not really a fan. I love Eva though!
