Good morning Kelly. Are you going to have a dating scan? If so, you should be able to have that in a couple of weeks. My scan at 6+6 showed a blob with a heartbeat.
    Hope your sickness goes soon.

Loonylea I know how you feel. It will happen that's for sure! I went crazy being 10 days over but try to relax and continue day to day life. Easier said than done I know. Looking forward to hearing your news.

Bond hope Toby is all better now and you are relaxing some and enjoying mat leave. Excited to hear news of your little girl soon

Mrs La how was Pink concert? I'm going in August. Will prob be my first time away from Ava too. I'm looking forward to the concert

Toni cute pic. Cuddles are just the best.

Ftm such a good sleep from Vale. Hope it continues. Are you doing SOS or any routine as such?

Kelly sorry that sickness has hit you. I hope it doesn't stick around.

Lil Smurfy how are you going? Not very long to go now. How are you feeling about becoming a mummy?

Afm DH is back to work today and I'm flying solo. The night wasn't too bad. Two outfit changes due to a leaky nappy and a chuck but Ava settled right away and I got some sleep. Still feeling emotional at times and I hate not having control over it. Otherwise things are going ok with us.

    Hi Smurfy

Here in the UK you get a dating scan at 12 weeks - nothing before unless you have complications. I'm freaking out now as I have just found some brown blood in my knickers and when I wipe. That, combined with cramps 70% of the time, is freaking me out. I've had a MC before which was lots of fresh red blood, and my last full-term pregnancy had some brown blood but I can't remember it being accompanied by cramps. I'm going to have to call my early pregnancy unit in the morning and hope they offer to scan me. It's 12:40am here.

Hi Kelly, personally I didn't - however I know many people who did have brown blood. As you said in your previous, fresh red blood is a different story. Generally brown blood is just some old blood

    Kelly,
With this pregnancy I had cramps red and brown blood and I'm 38+4 weeks with a healthy bean. I had early scans but I found getting 2-3 daily bloods better coz I could watch the levels rise. Same as u I was worried about a m/c and I am absolutely scared of needles. Hope everything is ok xox

I'm considering starting Ava on the 2-4 week routine this week. Do you have any tips or advice? I have to learn how to express too.

Can I make a suggestion? I think and this is just my personal opinion that a feeding routine is too rigid for such a little baby. I started Valentina on the self settling only at 2 weeks old and kept that up until week 8. You have to be strict with the timing of it. Only now have I started her on feeding every 4 hours during the day and whenever she wakes at night which is after 6 hours. So basically she wakes between 7-8. We feed, play and nap time. I don't allow more than 1.5 hours to pass between when she started feeding and when she goes back down. She'll sleep between 1-2 hours, then we have a play again and she usually gets tired from that and down for another nap. By the time she wakes from that second nap, its feeding time again. That's basically our routine. Night time is at 6pm I wake her if she's sleeping, feed, play and bath. That all takes until about 8pm. I give her a top up and she's usually put like a light.
Up to you of course what you choose to do but I found trying to do all if it at 2 weeks was too overwhelming for me hence why I started just the self settling

Let me know if you need any further help

Kelly I had brown blood early on in pregnancy. All fine!

Middie said cramps or blood are usually normal, watch out for cramps and blood together though.
