Just found this forum on a link from another forum. OH and I are planning on starting a family probably in the next 6 months if not sooner. Thought I would start finding out the "what to do" and "what not to do" when planning a pregnancy. Due to some issues on my behalf my doctor has recommended we start trying to conceive naturally and she is hoping we won't need to have extra help. Fingers crossed.
Will learn how to use this forum and looking forward to being a part of the community.

I might need a hand understanding the acronyms, is there a thread on here that explains things? I am a country girl and am only just finding my way around the forums.
Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome
once you've logged in, there's a "how to" section near the top of the page (along with "user panel" and "FAQ" among other subjects.....that'll let you know, well, how to! Just play around with the site and see what you find. Have fun!

Although there is no section explaining what all the acronyms mean, I know a few but there a couple that have me stumped. I guess I better learn the lingo before we start TTC

Thank you all for such a warm welcome.
It's a bit nerve racking with some of the female health issues I've had and in my early 30's , so trying to be as best informed as I can so I know what I am in for before we start TTC. I have a fantastic doctor but it's nice to hear from personal experiences too.
Thank you littleduck, really appreciate that ! off to learn some more, haven't ventured too far yet. Will get the hang of it soon
