Is this an option pianolady? I did read something about flex-schooling but I'm not sure if it's available in Qld and I heard it's up to the principal's discretion...This would really be a fantastic option for me and my kids if we could do it. Do you know how I can find out more about it?
Yep I looked at other schools. The three really sort after ones in our area are 3 of the best primary schools in Qld and impossible to get into unless you are in catchment and even then not all catchment kids are guaranteed a place! The only other State school's philosophical approach is much the same is our current school. My eldest only has 2 years until high school so I don't really want to disrupt her with so little time left. At the same time it has been a dilemma 'cause I would love to have the opportunity for 1-2 days a week to give them the content, examples, practice etc that I know they need to really excel.
