Default Do you send hot food in your kids lunchboxes?

Ok so I've seen the smallish thermos type thingys (200ml ish).

Just wondering if in the cooler months you send something 'hot' for your kids to eat at lunchtime ie pasta / fried rice?

My child is off to big school next year and at the moment he quite enjoys having hot food in the middle of the day in the cooler weather.

These are the ones my sister uses for my 8 year old niece , ill use them for DS as well when he starts school - she usually sends pasta, meatballs, rice, noodles - not soup yet as its too messy!

No, they often have a cooked breaky in winter, so that's enough for them.

Yep my kids love hot lunches at school. I send spag bol, fried rice, noodles etc sometimes I cook mini pies and sausage rolls and wrap them in foil, I also do this with marinated chicken nibbles.
