hi everyone hope you are all well! I have a question, we had midwife appointment yesterday and they said I was measuring same as my appointment 2 weeks ago she said if it's still the same in 2 weeks they will do a ultrasound to check everything! we are wondering if they should have done one yesterday?? has made us a bit worried! he's a good little wriggler so I no he's ok but it has freaked us out a little!

Bamca - this is totally the last time in the foreseeable future that you get to be selfish.
Forget everyone else - this is totally about you.
Have who you want there - and your partner is going to have to 'suck it up!".
no, seriously, he will be fine - it's all about you!

I've been thinking about the whole
visitor thing too cos almost everyone is travelling 2-4hrs. When my SIL had her bub 2yrs ago they all just hung out in te room and said to DH yeah not going to happen so he's agreed to take them down for cups of tea etc so I can feed. We aren't telling anyone until
the baby is born an we have had our time by ourselves. And even then it will take everyone a day to get to us. Will probably announce to friends day 3 or so.

Didn't mind visitors as it broke up the day a bit though I got am yes when people would say they were coming in to the hospital on a particular day and I waited all day and no visit! I was lucky with day 1 as it was morning and a week day everyone was at work. So it was me and hubby for about 4 hrs then my parents came and then his mum and my sis and niece and that was enough visitors for the first day . There were some moments where I was over the visitors but in general they didn't stay long. If you feel they are too much just politely ask them to leave or you could just got to sleep in front of them and they will get the hint

Newbee if you're worried, I'd phone the clinic and ask them to refer you for an ultrasound now so that you can put your mind at rest.

Sorry newbee I missed your post!

Maybe call your Dr and ask if you can have an ultrasound or review earlier? I know quite a few ladies that have had similar happen and bub has still grown just their bellies havent.

    Hi all!

I hope all our Mummas are doing well. We might have to get a new thread for mummies happening soon!

Nancy - how are you going? You must be due anytime now!

AFM - ended up getting some monitoring done after my apot yesterday. Bub is all good just starting to slow down in movements. My BP has gone up a bit suddenly so seeing OB again a bit sooner. Started dialating and lost my plug so Dr said by next weekend bub should be here
