    Default 7.5 old hardly drinks

I'm having trouble getting dd to drink, whether it be her milk or water. She'll have about 30-50ml of her bottle then smack it away n want to go play. I try to give her water which she'll have a few sips of n smack it away. Loves her solids tho. She's got her first tooth coming through, do they go off their milk when thus happens? I'm very concerned she's not hydrated enough for how energetic she is.

I have no idea how to get her to drink more, but if she likes solids include things like cucumber and watermelon in her diet which are mostly water. Good luck, hopefully it's just a stage!

    Agree with JR.
You could also try making ice blocks? if she's teething it will help with relief too.

    Ice blocks!! Great idea, thanks.
I bought some watermelon so will start giving her that. Do u put it in one of those net things where they can suck the juice out or just give them a piece of watermelon?

I do BLW and just give it to her but if you want to reduce the mess factor use the net lol

I have the same problem, I found when DS is teething he goes off his milk but not his food (always loved solids).

Not much you can do can't force feed them. Occasionally he will have a 150ml bottle but most of the time it is 50mls at each feed 3 times a day. Sometimes he just bats it away and wants none.

    Would love some tips also.

Same problem with my almost 9 month old DD. barely drinks milk or water. I took to stringing formula in 1 day. I thought it was a teething thing too but it's been going on for weeks now on and off. Still no teeth either ;-)
