    Default Can anyone tell me the success rate of a 5-day embryo surviving the thaw

    please??

    Im booked in for next Tuesday for our first natural FET cycle transfer, and all I can think about now is our little embryo surviving the thaw.....

    can anyone tell me the % rate for embryo's surviving the thaw process?

    Hi. I have had 2 FETs in the past with 5day blastys and that was with 2 embryos each transfer and all 4 of my embryos survived the thaw!

    From memory, I think it's around 95%. I've had 2 FET's and coming up for a 3rd, and the first 2 times, they both defrosted well.

    I don't know exact percentages sorry but with our one and only FET...we had 2 frozen 5 day embryos and one did not survive the thaw and one did survive and I am now 23wks pregnant with that little embryo!

    I've had 3 FETs/ 4 blasts all defrosted very well. If the clinic uses vitrification thawing rates are usually very high

    I have had four embryo's thawed and they all survived the thaw. Not sure on actual percentages though. Good luck!
