I just got an email from flybuys, an 'exclusive' preview at the KMart Christmas catalogue. In it, it said this :
In fact, both the range and the everyday low prices of the Kmart toys featured in this catalogue will be available from now through to Christmas. Because these prices won’t change, we’ve removed Christmas layby. But we still offer our 8-week layby program. It’s here throughout the year to help you budget and keep surprise gifts out of sight.
Is anyone else aware of this? I'm a bit peeved. I love the long lay-by.

I also like the long layby, but I guess I'll be going elsewhere this year

The only reason I liked the Kmart lay by is to be able to go up to lay by with the catalogue and not have to search through the shop for it.

Looks like all Christmas toys will be purchased from target this year. 8 weeks for 4 kids for Christmas is no where near enough time with bills going up and the price of rent and general living these days, k mart are deff gunna lose a ton of business and they will see come Christmas time how much they have suffered and bring it back next year I bet.

Problem is, I've heard of so many friends who had lost parcels (or part lost parcels) on long layby.
