Default Breastfeeding during natural frozen embryo cycle

Looking to get on the IVF roller coaster again...... and just wanted to see if anyone has continued breast feeding during a natural IVF frozen embryo cycle and if there were any requirements/tips I need to know in order to be able to do this. I am not keen on weaning my 1YO to TTC unless we absolutely have no other choice so would love to hear from anyone who has been permitted to/successfully dont a transfer whilst feeding. My ob said she recommends not doing this as you want every chance of success and this is one potential added hormonal factor which might sway things out of your favour but I still wanted to canvas my options. I never had any issues (we had MFI) and my progesterone was naturally through the roof on my last cycle so didn't need any meds to regulate this.

    Thanks everyone

We are going to wean ds at 6months to give my body a 2 months to rest before our fet. My fs said I could bf as long as I had a regular cycle but I feel more comfortable knowing I'm doing all I can to give our frosties the best chance. Good luck

Hi me+he! I have only just spotted this thread, otherwise I would have replied earlier. My situation was very similar to yours by the sound of it. Mfi and no issues on my side as far as we know. I fell pregnant with dd on our first natural thaw cycle. She is now 22 months old. I still breast feed her and am now 28 weeks pregnant. I fell pregnant after the second transfer. At the time I was feeding dd 4 times a day (she was 14 months when we went back to the clinic). My fertility specialist was actually very supportive and said as long as I had been having regular cycles for a few months she saw no issue. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions
