    Default Removing pen from carpet

    We live in a rental and we are moving out in about 4 months.
    My daughter decided to draw me a pretty picture on the carpet using washable markers.
    I got most of it but can still see some.
    What's some great products out there to remove carpet stains??

    Hairspray....l know hairspray is great for pen marks so could possibly work on washable markers too.

    My friend swears by white windex for carpet stains.. She has removed many a red wine spill successfully.

    Hairspray didn't work . I did use home brand window cleaner which worked well but still has the smudge look now

    I got foundation and eyeliner (thankyou dd1!) out of our carpet using spray n wipe.

    I sprayed liberally and scrubbed with a cleaning cloth, rinsed cloth, scrubbed and sprayed and scrubbed again.

    Came up like new. Haven't tried markers, but I imagine foundation and eyeliner would be worse than marker.

    Worth a try anyway!

    I use Norwex Carpet Stain remover and it works wonders... It can be a but pricey but so handy to have around for stains on carpet, chairs etc
