My DS turned 2yr old in April we currently have the safe n sound maxi rider AHR but his shoulder is now sitting above the line to turn into a booster seat. He is way to young to be in a booster by law and my own feelings in regards to car seat safety. We are looking at getting a maxi cosi complete air as its supposed to last with inbuilt harness until 6-7years old and the maxi cosi goliath, just wanting to know of anyone has either of these seats and how old your child is? And What you do and don't like about them.

Maxi cosi complete air

I have 2 maxi cosi complete airs and a hera in my car. My 3 and 4 year old daughters use the complete airs and sometimes my 6 year old will jump in the seat. I love the ease of moving the head height up as they grow, it's just a pull of some buttons and lengthen the straps which is also simple. Plenty of room for them to grow and stay in it until age of 7 if you don't want to change to a booster.

Babyg4 can I ask how tall your 3 and 4 year olds are and do the seats have the height markers like the others or just one to say they can sit in it and one saying they've outgrown it?

I can't even think whether the complete airs have height markers can have a look tomorrow. I know the Hera has height markers. My girls are both between 100 and 110cm tall. My 3 year old is still on the lower setting with plenty of room for the head adjustment part to go up.

Great thank you DS is 98.5cm so should fit it well I just don't want to drive the hour to the baby shop to try it out if he's not going to fit lol

I don't blame you the drive is a bugger around especially if you decide against it. Had to duck out before so had a look and the complete air does have height markers, they seem to be pretty high too. Also most baby shops price match now so if you find it cheaper online take the details of it.
