And hugs for you, I'm sure it's scary realising how serious things can be, but always better to get on top of it sooner than later x

I am really hoping you have gone to the ED. Your doctor does not sound like they know anything about herpes, because they would have taken it far more serious than that if they knew about it. And there is no excuse not to know, it isn't unheard of.

Please tell us you're at the hospital. These things can become fatal so quickly with babies, anything on the face is high risk, brain damage and permanent scarring are also risks.
The airways can also become obstructed from the swelling and judging by the pic there is considerable swelling.
Just not being able to eat means she needs to be in hospital, all of the above aside.
I can see you're online and have been on and off over the past day, please update us.

Disbride, everyone is really concerned about your baby. Please could you PM someone or just update us here.
I understand that you are probably feeling a bit overwhelmed with all this attention, but honestly, people are just afraid that if you do not take your baby to the hospital something terrible could happen.
A small baby like yours could deteriorate very quickly and its better to have her looked at properly and it be all ok, then leave it and it cause some major problems.
Hoping that everything is all ok.
