Disbride stay strong, lovely. i know its scary but she is in the best place now, I hope she makes a speedy recovery.
Have been thinking of you both all day.
Faroutbrusselsprout - yes it was was absolutely horrifying... One of the lowest points in my life. We were quarantined in the hospital because they at first had no idea what was wrong (suspected swine flu) but came back it was the herpes virus... I had no idea it was that dangerous. Ds#1 gets them all the time and kissed his brother at some point (without me seeing) and bam.

All the best to you and your bub! She's in the best place to get better.

As has already been explained, it seemed that the OP was reading along, answering PMS then reading some more yet deliberately not responding to requests for updates on her unwell bub. I don't think anyone in here expected the OP to respond and update rather than focus on her daughter, but it did come across that she had the ability to reply and chose not to.
Everyone perceives things differently though and is entitled to their opinion based on those perceptions.
Bottom line though is that bub is getting the treatment she needs and hopefully the Dr who advised a barrier cream is made to understand what a huge mistake that was.
