Thanks for the update. So glad that bub is in hospital getting the proper treatment, and I hope the quack who "prescribed" barrier cream is taken to task over this. Not good enough.

I ask you...WHERE did I insinuate I thought it great if she hadn't sought further medical advice??! That is an outright misinterpretation of my post. If I had a sick baby, updating you on BH would be a last priority. Like I said earlier, I'm sure she got the point that perhaps it was more serious than she thought after the amount/type of responses she got.

The undertone to some of the replies was not nice so no I wouldn't blame her for leaving the thread. It's been done by plenty of ops before her.

Thanks peanutmonkey for updating everybody on disbrides behalf I hope everybody is satisfied. She DID go to hospital, for some reason everybody decided to assume the worst of her and that she hadn't gone.

Hope your LO is feeling better soon x

Thanks peanutmonkey, it is good to know that bubs is getting best care. I agree with Californication, that GP is a quack. What a stressful thing to have happened!

Agreed, I really hope that once her babe is on the mend she contacts the gp for feedback. It is really dangerous that she was not given better information.
