    OK well I will admit that when my DD is carrying on like a pork chop I've been known to yell "OMG are you two years old? You're having a tantrum like a toddler!".

    Definitely not ok. If someone got in my kids face like that I would immediately ask them to leave and let them know that they will not be getting a call back... Ugh seriously that's horrible behavior from an adult.

    That is so not ok!! I would be telling her to leave straight away. Children should not be belittled or made to feel ashamed like that even if it's in a joking way (which it didn't sound like it was). I would never leave my son with someone who spoke to him like that

    Instant fail. He's not being a baby, he's being a tired 4 year old expressing how awful he feels.

    I'd try a different nanny.

    This exactly! It is very inappropriate. Your poor DS I would be very upset if somebody spoke to my child like that, let alone somebody I was PAYING.
