We waited 3 months. We needed that time to adjust & find our feet being a couple. Then we involved the kids.

We have decided to wait until after ai am officially divorced and then after that whenever it feels right which I hve a feeling will be another month or two after the divorce. I've really enjoyed having this time with just the two of us and building our relationship

I met my DFs kids the same weekend I met him! Aged 4 and 5. Just as a new friend, before we knew anything was going anywhere. It was at a Tupperware party in their home so therefore not at all awkward or anything since there were numerous people there.
My DF met my son fairly early on as mummy's friend, we had a lunch date at the playground. He was 16 months or so.
over time we all hung out more and more just like friends, eventually introduced the kids at some play dates and when we realised it was serious started doing things more like a little family. We moved in after 8 months together, it seemed like the right thing to do. Been nearly a year now living together and we are expecting a little baby in December :-)

Only a couple of weeks, but as the saying goes....when you know, you just know.
The last guy I dated never met the kids though.
