I haven't been in about 8 yrs, since I had my braces off in high school. They cost way too much and I have better things to spend my money on.

At the moment I go every 4-6 weeks to the ortho. I have braces but I go to the dentist twice a year every year for a clean and check up.

Every 6 months or so at the moment because work pays for it so I keep regular appointments. I had my wisdom teeth taken out last year after many years of pain because I couldn't afford to go.

I think dental work is FAR too expensive and inaccessible to those with not much money. In my younger years I should have gone many times but just couldn't afford it and couldn't get assistance to go. Makes me wonder how many kids over the age of 9 or 10 (after the age limit for free dental work) suffer bad teeth because their parents can't afford to have work done for them.
