Common things I'd pick up on when doing exits,

    Window tracks
    Weeds in garden
General garden and yard work done
    Back of cupboards
    Top of shelves up higher
    Oven, grill and stove top
    Light fittings
    Exhaust fans

I haven't done property management for a couple of years so I'm sure there's more, I'll add if I can think of them.

Basically, check your entry report. As long as you leave the property in the same (or better) condition it will be all good

Can you pay someone to do an exit clean? Most cleaning companies do it we have only just gone back to renting but it is what I will do next time I have to move. There is so much to stress about moving already without adding cleaning.

No cant afford it unfortunately. Its all been at such short notice too.

Our landlords wanted to move in and break the lease and offered compensation ( covers our moving costs) so we agreed.

    Has been pretty stressful tho.

Carpets have to be professionally cleaned and if you've had a pet on the property you have to have it sprayed for fleas. Other than that the list that dancingchipmunk gave. Oh and the walls will need to be spot cleaned and if there are any marks on the ceiling too.

Already organised to have the carpets done thanks.

Dont know where to begin! Im wiping out cupboards as i empty them and have cleaned the air conditioner filters etc. Most of it will have to b left till after we move out but am trying to get as much as possible done prior.

Hate going back to clean after moving day. Urgh.

Normally in a lease it states blinds/curtains should be professionally cleaned too which is a massive pain!

I never put that on a lease. As long as they are clean, basically in the same condition as the start of the tenancy.
