Default Baby Thermometer - which one do you recommend?

As the title suggests, I am looking at buying a thermometer. This is our first child and I would love your opinions on which thermometer you use and why.

I know the thermometers you run over the forehead are more expensive than the standard digital under the arm, mouth or ear thermometer, but are they better? What else should I keep in mind when purchasing a thermometer? Thanks!

I have the MedeScan touchless thermometer and it is extremely accuate. Local hospitals around my area use them. Great for a sleeping baby/child and also does room and surface (like bath water) temp too.
