We didnt have kids at our wedding with the exception of my niece. I didnt say anything about it on the invites. A few friends had the kids at the church which was fine - and it can be expensive if paying for sitters for a full day wedding and a long day for people minding the kids! Nobody even asked if they could bring their kids. I think most people are happy to have a night out! My invites specifically invited "So and So" by name. I wouldnt even think of taking my kids along!
