Nattie, hoping your appointment with Dr M goes well.
SimpsonDesert - i actually got a call from the scientists this morning. We actually had 4 frozen, but one hadn't hatched fully so couldn't be biopsied. One came back as NAD (such a relief!!) one was abnormal, and one inconclusive and has to be re-run. So more waiting for the results on that one, and for my FS appointment in a couple of weeks. So now we have 3 untested frosties, 1 normal and one TBC Not sure where that leaves me, possibly doing another stim??

Hi all! We're back! So Dp has started stabbing with Lucrin again. She goes for her day 1 bloods and probing tomorrow and we'll start stabbing with gonal-f.
We had to take a significant break for dp to have a shoulder reconstruction and we also sought advice from an RI. Dr M was lovely and found dp has an imbalance in her NK and TCells, so dp is on Dr M's protocol!
And I find it all funny, as about 18months ago we asked Dr Anne about NK/TCell imbalance and she basically told us it was "pseudoscience" and nothing to worry about. Now she has recommended dp have an "endometrial scratching" to "help balance the NK and TCells. Grrrrrr. But hopefully it will all be the magic for a sticky one.

Hi Catemer, I'll be one day behind your DP, I'm picking everything up tomorrow to start CD1 on an antagonist cycle, I usually do a long down with lucrin and gonal f, but after a short cycle last time which apart from a bfn was ok, and me panicking about not fitting in another long down cycle with my clinic closures over xmas we decided to do another short cycle.
Funny, my FS said no to NK testing, but agreed to let me have a scratch which the doctor took a biopsy of anyway!
It'll be nice to have a cycle buddy!

Hi Everyone I don't know what is going on with my computer but it won't let me start on a new line. Just to let you all know we were asked if we would like to permanently foster 2 children with view to adopt (brother and sister 5 & 2). How's that for irony or fate!!! We said yes of course. We will now have a family by Xmas. (bit scary though with 2 at once) Thankyou for your kind thoughts Nat and Simpson. Simpson I have 45 progesterone pessaries in container with receipt. I hate to see them go to waste, they were only suppose to make up 10 but did the whole script. Anyway I hope all is well with everyone and good luck to you all. xxx

Wishing, congratulations! That is such great news and a wonderful thing for you to do. I know a lady who did the same thing with similar aged children and a year in they are very settled and happy. I hope it's a smooth transition for you and wish you the very best!

Springrain- yay for one confirmed normal! I hope the one they're repeating comes back normal too. Bummer you have to wait a second time but hopefully with be worth it. When we had only 1 normal frostie left, we chose to stim again. Firstly to give us back-ups for bub #1, but also to give us embies for bub #2 should we happen to get lucky. I'll be a few years older by the time we're ready for #2 and its great having the future bub already on ice from my 34yo eggs.
Catemer- welcome back! Dr M also diagnosed me with a NK/T cell imbalance and I'm pregnant first go after starting his protocol. So excited for you and DP now that you have the right treatment plan. Good luck with this cycle!
Chiefsgirl- I wonder what they're going to test your biopsy sample for if not NK cells? Glad the scratch is done & dusted and you'll be underway with your next cycle soon. Fingers crossed you get your BFP this time
Traveler- yes we made it! So relieved to pass the 12 wk milestone
Nattie- you're welcome. So many of us Syd girls are now also Dr M girls!
Wishing- My home PC was doing that too- couldn't start new paragraphs, so annoying. Its the version of your web browser thats causes it, you should be able to fix it by installing a newer version. Wow!! Congratulations on your instant family!! I'm so thrilled that this oppportunity has come your way and its wonderful that you're willing to make a difference in these little children's lives. I wish you all the best preparing for life as a Mum to 2 and hope you'll keep us posted. Thanks so much but I won't be needing those pessaries, I'm allowed to start weaning from next Monday. I hope somebody else can take them off your hands as it would be a shame to waste them.
MGC- how are you going?
Hi to Nat84u, Bella, Crofty, TTHC, Peonies & Quartz
AFM- Great news . Everything was excellent at the NT scan yesterday and our risk scores for the trisomies were super low. So relieved these tests backed up the PGD results and we can relax knowing bubs is healthy. Also saw Dr M on Tuesday and got my weaning schedule woo-hoo! Here's some pics from my scan

Simpson, congratulations, your bub is so cute! You must be so relieved at the scan results, that's a great NT thickness.
I am thinking that maybe I might try to convince my FS to let me stim again, but not sure what the reaction will be. With only 1 definitive good one I would be reassured if I could do it again, but don't know what to do about my 3 untested ones. On balance, I think most of them will be abnormal.
