Hey I will have a fair bit of Gonal F left over after this cycle so what do we do with it? Nattie can you explain to me please what you mean. Can you use Gonal F as a chance booster when doing natural cycles. Sorry I am new to all of this and not sure what you mean however it sounds interesting
I have EPU on Tuesday at 1pmSo excited but also scared stiff that it might be the end and all this will be for nothing. FS couldn't see my left ovary so we aren't sure what is there but I had 5 follies on my right ovary all different sizes.

Nattie, hope that the FET or the au naturel way works for you. Are you doing a stimulated FET too? I've also been on Gonal F this cycle (doing a stimulated FET), however as we now have quite bad MFI, the chances of of DH and I having a natural conception are almost zero.
Sharlee, good luck for your EPU, hope you get a great haul.
Butterfly, I'm sorry your blastie didn't survive thaw.
AFM - I'm having a FET tomorrow. After 2 booster shots of Pregnyl, my progesterone levels have finally fallen into line. Means I won't be able to do a HPT as I have more pregnyl as support during the 2WW, but if it gets me over the line, I'm happy.

Sharlee - we are doing what's called medicated FET - we are doing this cause usually my hormone levels are quite low and we wanted to give the embryo every possible chance. If you have some left over gonal f just keep it for the moment depending on your clinic you may be able to save some money if u need some for a future cycle? You shouldn't go using it unsupervised, what I mean is that they tell you not to have sex during a FET cycle especially a medicated one as u might drop more than one egg. Oh well we are throwing all the hats in the ring lol what are the chances.
Good luck spring rain! I'm hoping to trigger tomoz!

Nattie, that's exactly why I'm doing the stimulated FET too! My hormone levels were low when my FS was medicating me with oestrogen tablets and progesterone pessaries. Hope it works for you
Looking forward to hearing some good news after your transfer
Thanks for the good wishes

springrain - how did your transfer go?
I am a little down atm its day 14 and still not ready to triggerI usually ovulate around cd16-18 but I had been taking some vitex mix from the naturopath and after 4 months I was ovulating around day 14! The FS said to stop taking it to do my ivf cycle and now I am scared that my hormones will be stuffed and it will be a very late transfer!

Safam - thanks!
Nattie - transfer was OK, the blastie was a bit slow to thaw, the embryologist was a bit concerned it wouldn't make it, but it came good at the end.
Hopefully it will all be good for your this cycle!I've heard that a longer follicular phase isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially in younger women. Apparently as we get older the follicular phase grows shorter and the eggs get dodgy - hence shorter cycles as we get older. Anyway, a late trigger and transfer might be a good sign. Looking forward to some good news after your transfer
Sharlee, how did you go with EPU? Hope you have some time to rest up and recover, and that you get a great haul of mature eggs, and a lovely high fert rate
Hi to Butterfly and others, hope you have had a good start to the weekLast edited by SpringRain; 18-06-2013 at 14:24.
