I agree, the AVN are just as bad as the westboro baptist church.
Anyone associated with them should be sued, or at least stripped of any medical associations (I know many RN's are part of it, they should be fired!)

Thanks for that Beebs what a low down crappy thing to do! Regardless of your personal beliefs a family lost a child and I can only imagine the horrific grief that would bring.
Then to be subjected to such abuse is appalling. These people should be locked up.

I can't read it as I will find it too distressing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, to think that someone with no medical/science training knows better than the overwhelming majority of specialists, people who have studied and practiced the science for years following a robust process that includes continual improvement and questioning is ludicrious. To then torment a family who have endured the loss of an innocent baby, a pain which I can only imagine is so unbearable that no person should ever have to endure is beyond cruel. I would argue it's callousness is worthy of jail time.
By all means question, challenge and learn but to think you know better than an army of specialists is, well, insane. I say this not just with vaccines in mind but also many of the well researched areas of science that still, for whatever reason are considered contentious, such as climate change and evolution. People who outright disbelieve such well researched and scientifically proven 'truths' should be made to do without all the benefits that science has bought them like electricity, cars, computers, appliances, modern housing and communications.

Just on a related issue...I don't think a random stranger should be able to access a person's autopsy report. I don't know if she was successful or not, but I just find it appalling that she'd even ask.
It is blindingly obvious that some of the people mentioned in the article care absolutely nothing for the welfare of children. Take for instance the "weaker members of the herd" comment to that father about his son.

Couldn't agree more about some of the people not giving a care about the poor children who have passed. I wonder if they were in that position if they'd still believe their child was just 'the weakest member of the herd'?

Oh my goodness! That is horrific. How in the world can they stoop so low. Poor, poor families.

Reading this has made me so angry, not to mention a bit scared that there are people out there like this. And for that one hateful person who bring a mythical being ("god") into his argument, against hard science and fact, makes me sick to my stomach. Keep your revolting archaic beliefs to yourself and let the rest of the world continue to develop and evolve as it should. Disgraceful! Those poor families who are subjected to this cruelty.

Makes me so angry and so outraged that people would do this to a grieving family

So disgusting. What's wrong with these people?! Even if they genuinely believe that the baby did not die of WC - you don't harass a grieving family. How is that not common freaking sense. Wtf. It's really beyond comprehension.
