I don't know too much about it but you can still have the pregnancy hormone in your body for some time after miscarrying...

I have heard ladies get their bloods taken to see if it goes right down before trying again...

    Hi jagamoe,

I miscarried April/May and my hpt's were pos for a few weeks afterwards.....doc is having me take weekly bts until hcg nil....this Wednesday they were 23. By the way she was talking it sounded like AF will not show until the hcg clears.....I'd go to your gp, explain your situation and ask for some tests......I know for myself the "not knowing" what your own body is doing was driving (it's still upsetting) me insane.

I miscarried last year, was only six or seven wks preg. I bled when I miscarried of course but didn't need a dc. Four or five weeks later when af hadn't turned up I poas and got two very very vivid lines. Those two lines turned into the six month old sitting in the high chair looking at me now. But your line is very faint op.. If you still don't have af in a few days maybe get a blood test. How long gestation were you when you miscarried?

My hcg took almost 3 weeks to disappear completely after d&c. I'd go to the gp if I were you. Would be exciting if you we're preg again?!?!

I had the same thing happen, also 4 weeks after d&c. Turns out I had retained product and needed a second d&c. I'd go and get some blood tests if I were you. Good luck!

D&C was the 24th started vitex bled from the 24-12th to light & then spotting until on & off til the 17th
had pos opk on the 1st then browm cm passed a huge clot on the 4th
started antibiotics on the 6th &100mg pristiq got pathology results unexplained fetal demise at 8 weeks
Cleared for infection from blood test results
on the the18th severe cramps comparable to labour pains
& then today 2 feint pos hpt & 2neg OPKs
We have been dtd not actively trying though.
I was 12&2 when I found out our baby had passed away at 8&1 & had D&C 2days later
I've asked my dr for hcg tests & he said it wasn't necessary nor was a follow up scan I tried to call this arvo to get in but was engaged & then closed.

I'm thinking I'm either preg or possible retained product or hormones? But would have thought by now my hcg would have dropped a fair bit?
If I am preg again will be good but I'd just like to know whats going on kinda thing.

I've got 1 hpt left if its preg it should be darker if I take it with fmu in a few days ?

Would it be worth using fmu & seeing what hpt says ?
