I'm so thankful I'm not overdue this time round. My heart has been ripped out again. I've just lost my Patrick again.

I think so too. He couldn't stay forever. Isn't he meant to be working on some other project now? Cute that Jimmy and Zara named their baby Patrick...that made me cry. One of those beautiful close family moments.

Or maybe it's because I wanted to call our baby Patrick (it's a family name) but the Offspring effect has possibly ruined that for me.

Apparently Patrick isn't gone for good!

Le Nevez’s character, Patrick Reid, was killed off last season but the handsome star has been continuing to appear in the Channel 10 popular drama thanks to Nina, played by actor Asher Keddie, imagining her lost partner was still alive.

Last night, however, it appeared she had banished him from her make-believe scenarios for good.

But according to a source, Le Nevez, who first joined the show as a regular cast mate in 2011, will be back, with Nina not seeing his ghost “for now.”
Offpsring writer Michael Lucas and script producer Jonathan Gavin both had kind words for Le Nevez on Twitter about Wednesday’s episode.
Lucas tweeted of the episode that “the last part was so poignant I wept to the point of dehydration,” part of his post read.

The getting married while in labour scene was ludicrous. I think the writers so the actors a disservice with those cringey scenes as they are such great actors!! I get you need a comedy factor but that was not funny.

Oh and really.... He happens to be the new midwife at her hospital? Again, not funny just stupid! The awkwardness was well acted though.

Yeah. But I think he really proved himself in Zara's bizarro birth/wedding and I think that will help take some of the awkwardness out. Oh god I hope so because I feel so awkward watching Nina be awkward.

I couldn't agree more, it was cringeworthy.
