Woohoo lissy!!! So happy for you hoping for an uneventful 8 months ahead!
Af came early this month so I'm already on cd5. Need to get some ovulation sticks and sort out all my meds/vitamins and then we can get to it! I'm excited but nervous after 5 months off ttc...

Hi lissyloulou my Fert centre (WFC) don't do BTs just HPT's (and then you can go to your GP I guess) my officials POAS day is 29/5 so next Wednesday - see how we go I guess, not feeling very confident TBH - although it seems as though everyone on all threads I'm subscribed to lately are getting their long awaited BFPs!!!! Maybe there's a tsunami of luck rolling on in to the land of baron women!!!!!

Thanks ladies!!! It's a very surreal feeling right now!!
Flowers all the best with your BT too!!
Crofty, it's amazing when you go through such struggle and you see others struggle and get there, but still don't feel confident yourself. I felt exactly the same way watching girls on this thread like scruffy, kiwi and Romy, and just thought, nup not me. Little did I know what was right around the corner. I am so thrilled that we did not give up when the going got tough, and neither have you! You are doing great. Xx
Just spoke to Gwyneth (dr M) and only change to my protocol is upping prednislone to 35mg from 25mg...eeek! My sleep is crap as it is. Anyone know if it's safe to keep taking melatonin? I will have to find out as it really helps me get off to sleep (not stay asleep, but that's another story) and surely it's safer than sleeping pills or xanax, at least it's natural.
Anyone else get upped to 35mg or higher when they got a bfp?
Oh and intralipid booked for Monday morn.

LissyLouLou - Woooo Hoooo!!!
Amazing news, big congratulations. Wow Dr M really is on a roll
I upped my prednisolone to 35mg after the BFP. I actually found my sleeping improved the longer i was on it (then your bladder starts to wake you up )
A quick me update - I am cruising long 18.5 weeks and feeling great. Had an early anatomy scan at 17 weeks and all was well with the bub. We chose not to find out the sex. I am starting to relax a bit now actually believe we will get a baby at the end of this.
Just waiting to see if I need one more intralipid and when to stop all prednisolone (have weaned down to 10mg)
Big hello to everyone else, I am still stalking most days

Hi Scruffy! I have been thinking of you and hoping all was well!! You were one I always read about and kept me motivated to keep trying, so thankyou! i used to look at your little avatar of feet on the beach and it always made me feel happy. Glad to hear things are moving along, was wondering how many weeks you are. I was just thinking then, I wonder his many weeks go by before I actually believe there might be a baby at the end of this. It's a full on thought! I guess 10-12 weeks is normal to feel a bit safer, even a heartbeat will be thrilling, I have no idea really but looking forward to finding it all out!
Thanks for sharing info on the prednislone. Is it just rumour that it actually helps with morning sickness?! Or did you get sick anyway??

Yeah Dr M is having some incredible success, and I also put my dr Wazza in that category too. Right now I am in love with them both!! Lol

Thanks Hope06 for ur reply in the other thread. I'll definately check out the book u mentioned.
Can anyone tell me which specific blood tests u got that checked for immune issues as well as NK cells? Does anyone have a list of exactly what you were tested for?
I'm also wondering if there are any symptoms of NK cells? Apart from recurrent miscarriage is there any other issues u had that made ur FS suspect u had NK cells?
Any info u can give me is appreciated

Thanks Romy! It's our wedding anniversary today can you believe, so we are having dinner at a lovely place I the city
Just spoke to my fs, did anyone get the safety talk about prednislone?? I'm upping from 25 to 35mg, and fs said he's happy for me to take as long as I'm aware of risks? I said, what risks? Like birth defects? He said no it's safe for that, but more so for me like bone health/adrenal stuff/ they don't really know how bad it is for you long term. I said well as long as it's no risk to baby I'm happy to take risk for myself.
I can't see how much worse 35mg would be than taking 25mg that my fs prescribed and agreed to anyhow? Oh well, I guess he's just wanting me to be aware and do his job, it was just a bit of a downer conversation!
Can anyone please tell me at what week Dr M started to wean you down a little from 35? It's not like it will last to end of preg hey.
I think it's well worth the risk and Dr M knows what he's doing. I think the only graduate we have is Nat to ask if she had any health issues after, and Bella I think you're almost off the stuff? We're all on mega calcium too so that should help
