gah...feeling like crappola ladies. awoke with terrible cramps this morning, that same old feeling. cramping has eased, but fluctuating throughout day. BT on thursday, today is 15 dpo. if i'm not preg i know the only reason i'm not getting AF is due to drugs holding it off. don't know how much more i can handle at this point or how many more TWW i can endure with never a single positive test. i know there is still a chance, but self protection also tells me that i've never had a positive before and felt this way every single time, why would our luck change now. also trying not to have negative thoughts for my body to absorb. i hate this. i have never been on this high an immune protocol before so trying to keep a little hope, but it's so hard.
anyone else get terrible period like cramping and still get a positive? could it be due to massive progesterone doses that us immune girls have to be on? wishful thinking? i guess only time will tell and it feels like slow motion water torture right now![]()

Hugs lissyloulou. I had period like cramping with my bfp, dr said caused by high dose progesterone. Don't give up hope. I also had some light spotting at 15dpo. I had already done hpts on 10&11dpo so I knew something good was happening. I've also had those exact feelings...why would it be a bfp this time when we've had so many past disappointments. Total self protection. I think we've all been guilty of it. Let yourself have hope, this is a new protocol for you.

Lissylou I know you don't want to get your hopes up, hugs, it's so hard. Just wanted to say that cramping doesn't really tell you if you are pregnant or not, I've had cramping before each of my pregnancies (1 gave me my dd and 4 were mcs) and thought af was on her way. Crossing everything for you

Thanks so much for your support! Well after swearing i would hold out til BT, decided i couldn't feel any worse and the stressing was not good for me, better to be put out of misery at least i thought! I did a craazy thing and tested this afternoon and have a strong looking positive!!!!!!! However we have to be careful not to get too excited (yeah right
) as my last 1500 pregnyl shot was at 9am Saturday. The fs says 5 - 7 days to be out of system, however I read a lady say her nurse said in reality it should be out by 3-4 days as you lose pregnyl at about 1000 per day....sooo...we wait!!! It's about 3.5 days since for me.
Another spanner in works is my BT has been changed from 23/5 to 24/5 (our wedding anniversary can you believe?!!), so another day to wait!!
So I will test again in morn and if line gets darker or at least stays the same I think we're in with a good chance. I'm 15 dpo today, so Friday will be 18dpo, but they are making me wait due to the pregnyl.
Another thing is I've tested before to see how long it takes for pregnyl to leave my system, 2,3,4 days post pregnyl and it's NEVER been such a strong line, I have NEVER seen a line like this before and was expecting absolutely nothing! So fingers crossed this is it, we will at least enjoy being closer than ever before tonight as we realise chem pregs can happen too, but right now we are hopeful!! Will update in morn

Sounds promising lissy! Keeping everything crossed that this will be your long awaited bfp!
Hi all other lovely ladies, sorry I've been so slack on personals. So busy at work tying up loose ends - starting maternity leave next week! 35 weeks tomorrow and still can't believe this is my life! So very thankful to ladies on this thread who supported me in finding answers and of course Dr M the miracle maker

Wow Lissylou
Great news! I have everything crossed for you. If the line is darker in the morning that's a huge sign. I can't wait to hear how you go. I too have had cramping and bleeding in all of my pregnancies and that includes my DS pregnancy too. Good luck

Scared but hopeful girls, the line is slightly slighty darker, but at the very least not faded so praying that is a good sign. Now to wait another sleep. Eeek!!
If anyone is a pee stick addict and interested I have posted pics on my other thread, 'Gold Coast ladies doing iui/ivf' etc
